We're about to head off to McCormick convention center her ein Chicago to set up our poster this morning:

580.13/GG39 - Mechanisms of plasticity in simple taxis behaviors in Drosophila


Remember, this is the poster which SfN placed in a session on rodents. Our poster will be on the most well-known insect behavior: phototaxis, i.e., insects flying or walking towards the light. Traditionally thought of as a stereotypic input-output behavior, we show it's a plastic, flexible beahvior which is much more complicated than previously imagined.
