In the post where I asked "What would change your mind about evolution?", I referred to a video interview  Michael Shermer did with Georgia Purdom, which wasn't available any more. Some kind soul posted it back to YouTube the other day (thanks PZ!). You better watch that, it made my jaw totally drop two stories at least. The conscious effort of switching all reason off in order to be able to cling to some weird belief is incredible. I've read the things creationists like her say, but watching someone in flesh and blood actually saying such incredibly insane and incoherent things in front of a camera is completely mind-numbing. This is what it must feel like listening to scizophrenic patients telling about their delusions. Really, really  scary stuff!
