A quick literature search on PubMed revealed that the publication rate in the field of operant (instrumental) conditioning is currently at a 25-year high. This result confirms my subjective impression that more and more people are becoming interested in this field again.Searching PubMed for the number of references containing the search phrases operant (or instrumental) and conditioning (or learning) in each consecutive year yielded the data for the very interesting graph below:
