With help from the designer of the Drosophila Flight Simulator, Reinhard Wolf, I finally managed to solve the problem of the noise in the torque compensator! The system now works flawlessly.
Reinhard found that one of the amplifiers in the system never had been used. Only when I set the system up after the transport from Würzburg, I had used the component, as it seemed to belong into the circuit. Even Reinhard didn't notice it, until after he had left!
This is the noise with and withouit the additional amplifier. The shot on the right shows a tolerable amount of noise.

Here are two shots of Reinhard Wolf, the engineer who developed the flight simulator for the fruitfly Drosophila:

Many thanks again, Reinhard, for your tremendous help and patience with my ignorance! I would've never gotten it done without you!

Now this is the way the setup will look for the near future. On top of this will eventually be the reinforcement system for temperature control of the fly, but that will only be installed, once I've verified the proper operationability of the setup in regular flight.

I would've posted all this much earlier, but I couldn't find the cable to download the pics off of my digicam! This morning I finally found it and here's the newspost
