This is not really news any more. The news was released back in July. But the video is just too amazing! The Inner Life of a Cell, is an eight-minute animation created in NewTek LightWave 3D and Adobe After Effects for Harvard biology students and you absolutely must see it! Created by XVIVO, the animation illustrates unseen molecular mechanisms and the ones they trigger, specifically how white blood cells sense and respond to their surroundings and external stimuli. It is a fascinating view into the inner workings of biological cells and skillfully illustrates what textbooks can only hint at: the beauty of biology. If you are one of the few who haven't seen it yet, go and do so right now!
What? You can't recognize anything in there? Go and RTFM!
