I had the honor of working for Kurt Stone during the 1996 Olympics. I've never worked harder or respected a leader as much.

I was truly impressed with the way he dealt with the IHF members. Kurt is extremely diplomatic, fair and reasonable. Many of us turned to him for leadership and guidance. He kept his cool during the entire Olympics...making us feel apart of his team. No matter how much pressure was on him, and there was a ton, Kurt would always give us his full attention and calmly come up with resolution to any situation. And despite all of the politics and personalities...Kurt always chose the high road of what was the best for the sport and athletes. He does the work and cares deeply for what is best for Team Handball.

Kurt is one of the most level headed, pragmatic, intelligent and gifted people that I know. This sport clearly needs his assistance. After witnessing the stunning excitement of this sport on a global level...it is shocking how little recognition it gets in the United States. This definitely needs to change! And I believe Kurt Stone is the best person for the job of President of Team Handball.
