Harvard undergraduate student rad1687 is blogging about animal cognition in a course by Irene Pepperberg. In his post on insect cognition, he actually refers to our paper on occasion setting in flies! The short post covers the initial findings of the paper and explains the experimental design. From the course description:

This course is an introduction to the study of animal cognition and thought processes. Topics include categorization, memory, number concepts, insight, and language-like behavior. The course requires reading and critiquing original journal articles.

Cool stuff! The entire finalclub.org website is actually very interesting in itself. From the "About" page:
